HORSETAIL BOX

Pinched earthenware, terra sigillata, and glaze

This box was imbedded with horsetails from my garden.  It is hand built using the slab method. The outside is air-brushed with terra sigillata. The inside has been glazed and it can serve as a box or leave the lid off and it becomes a lovely container for an Ikebana style arrangement.
