PAIR OF PEARS

The hand build forms made of white earthenware have been both coil built and pinched, followed by paddling and scraping.  Last of all they are air-brushed with white terra sigillata that is buffed to an egg like surface. The pear, no doubt, is a form with a universal appeal.  Perhaps it is its feminine, rather pregnant appearance that attracts us to its form and then beckons us to reach out and it.
